BREAKING: Growing Warriors Project Holding Hollywood Fundraiser Tonight

To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Hemp for Victory Campaign launched during World War II, the important non-profit group Growing Warriors Project is holding its inaugural fund raiser in Hollywood tonight.

It will be a star-studded affair including a limited-seating dinner and cocktail reception with a special performance to be announced. Celebrated chef Scott Durrah will be creating an infused dinner for guests.

Performers are:

Guests will be entertained by special live performances by double-Grammy-winning producer and radio personality DJ Native Wayne, former member of the Wailers Elan Atias. In between sets, Emmy-nominated Ahmed Ahmed and innovative performer Steve Byrne will provide comedy throughout the night.

Honorees are:

Honorees at tonight's event include Dr. John Boyd, Jr., the founder of the National Black Farmers Association; the millennial activist Micah Nelson; Heather Barnes-Jackson, CEO of Realm of Caring, Wanda James, managing partner at the Cannabis Global Initiative, and Kara Denise Brewer Boyd, Founder of the Association of Indian Farmers.

The event will be held from 7pm to 2 am at Cinematic Pictures Group, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028. Parking is available in the Hollywood/highland parking structure. Ticket prices start at $100 and are tax deductible.
